Help with identification please?

Hello everyone. I just want to say thanks in advance for any replies!

After hunting and hunting and hunting, it seems my boyfriend and I have found our first wild psychoactive mushrooms. But, we really want to make sure we're not wrong.

We found this tiny cluster of what we believe are p. cyanescens in NW Washington in some college gardens growing on woodchips.






A quick spore print turned out to be a dark, purplish brown color.







They are a picked over little cluster, very pitiful, I know, but if these are what we think they are, then we will definitely be back to check out the same spot after some good rain. (I did leave some mycelium behind, there were some stems without caps that I left in the ground.)

those are indeed P. cyanescens. a verry beautiful [though mangled] cluster at that.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

I remember when I first found cyans, it is quite exciting just to stumble on them accidentally. Make sure when you go back to that spot to take scissors along so you can cut the shrooms at the base instead of pulling up the mycelium. More mushrooms will grow this way.
