Thanx you guys. Kind of wish I kept them for printing. The girl riding with me said the tops looked like wild garlic lol.

Not to fog the post up guys, but better than making a new post. I was tracking down beech tree stands under the forest canopy for a few hours today. Looking for you know what lol! Saw many mushrooms! Most werent worth posting. Dint see no bluefoots :-( I will keep looking. I found hundreds of beech trees of all sizes and thats where most of the activity was. I saw a lot of mycelium puffed up on leaves that has me hoping, fingers crossed ;-)

1. Weird, growing from beech. Unknown ID.

2. Neat little mushroom pair growing under beech.

3. Purple makes me guess Laccaria? Under beech.

4. Some new to me Chanterelles. cibarius or smooth chants?

The Agaricus mushrooms.....

Here:  http://outsidethehops.com/2014/06/29/shroom-hunting-princes-horses-meadows/

I read this: fourth pic down.

Another collection of text-book-worthy A. campestris. These mushrooms were found growing under a shady grove of historic 200-250 year old copper beech trees with patches of yellow-stainer (A. xanthodermus) throughout the same habitat. Occasionally mature specimens will have darker or minutely cracked spots in the center of their caps. The caps are smooth or slightly rubbery and firm to the touch. Sometimes the caps can have very thin or irregular patches of darker colored scales. The stem, often quite thick, is more fibrous than the flesh of the cap but is also edible cooked.
