lol. shes only where she is now because her parents have that live-life-trhough-your-child mental complex. it sickens me when some mom pushes her child to be some singer or play piano or whatever when they're just a little kid. like your deal with need for consentuality. you think some little kid actually chooses to be a singer? its neurotic parents driving their children that tell them what they want them to be.

I'll fully concede that circumstance propelled her further than hard work alone could have. That's not the point.
"She fucking sucks" and "her kind are a cancer on our culture?" Get real. Anyone with an ear for vocalists knows she's one of the few real singers pop culture has to offer. Tastes differ, but to me her music is great.

Who gives a fuck if she has a good voice? Any computer can have perfect pitch, and be programmed to play a song perfectly, but it takes real passion, creativity, and originality to make meaningful music.
I've found that often the most powerful music comes out of someone who doesn't really have a good voice. They sound like they have real emotions, not just years of vocal training.

Well, this serves to back up my point. By "good voice" I don't mean "perfect pitch," tone, or harmony. I'm referring to the culmination of all those factors including the characteristic nuances that can only stem from a human voice.
If you think she sucks that's fine and dandy. We all have different tastes. I'm sure I'd think some the artists you like suck. To call her cancer on society is a bit absurd though.
