I realy doubt it is the spores.A friend of mine just recieved some spores from pf and his jars are 90% colonized after 9 days. Must be something in your technique.Pf is the only vendor he has ever ordered from and he has neever had a problem with his spores. Might be sterilization.What kind of set up are you using?

Perhaps, you innoculated your jars when they were still too hot.

never listen to anyone named creamy. 2 weeks, bad news. Even if they start colonizing, they'll probably halt before they finish. Start over.

it has been the same with all my jars, I haven't even seen a contam grow on them. No, I waited overnight to inoc. so they were not still hot. Advice?

Did you get your spores from PF cause I did and ALL my jars stalled. I am gonna write PF to see if they can reship me some ( I hope ) and I can try again....

PF is very reliable. I highly doubt that it was the spores. I have never known anyone to have a problem with PF spores... most mishaps occured because of technique. And for those of you that are having jars stall... ARE YOU TAPE HOLES STILL COVERED??? the mycelium need at least a little oxygen to grow, take the tape off the holes and I gar-roan-tee that you'll see 100% recovery in growth speed... you gotta let that CO2 vent from the jars. After colonization starts the dry vermiculite layer should protect the moist substrate.

my dogs friend used the pf tek, and he did not get any results till 2 weeks later. He is now on the 3rd week, and there are only like 3 dots per jar. wait another week, and if nothing happens start over
