Dude, thats perfect. Just make your casings in seperate containers and place them in there. You don't even need to seal the lid. Just keep the humidity high by misting a couple times a day. If your doing cakes, just throw some perlite in that biache and place the cakes on top. L8rs.

Wait...do you not need perlite if you're doing casings?

with casings, no perlite is needed. You don't need them with cakes either. A good observation, why do we associate cakes with perlite? Because the casing itself provides alot of moisture into the environment. Without the casing in there, the moisture level is strictly based upon the environment. Of course we need to mist heavily either way, but still the casing layer, whatever you use, provides a substantial amount of water to be used by the mycelium, whether absorbed physically or through the humidity in the air.

What I'm trying to say, after reading my banter, is that a casing introduces a source of moisture, it evaporates and adds to the air's humidity. With just cakes, the moisture level is based upon whats in the air, or evaporating off the walls of your terrarium. So some porous perlite water logged adds humidity. Thoreau never uses perlite with his casings. But some do, like Raymond Chandler for instance. But my good friend Blake never does. It's all up to you.

what I did, is put my cakes and casing in the same rubbermaid. I've got 5 cakes on perlite, and at one side of the container I've got a 5-cake casing in a foil baking tray. I for some reason put plastic wrap over the casing with a few holes in it, but i think i'm going to take it off, and let the humidity spread all around.
