I use this under Windows to access my Linux box over the network. It is an excellent terminal emulator (with SSH support) for windows.

Boot from your install disc, choose recovery. You'll have the option to format.

you could just format with a dos boot disk.. but to get it back on topic, here are a few more good software choices

Lavasoft Ad-Aware
Spyware Blaster
DivX Player

It is cool to see so many people using SSH these days. I was one of the original SSH developers that ported the code to Solaris X86 and DGUX back in the mid 90's. Seeing where SSH has gone is kind of like watching your kids grow up.
