I want to hear what your favorite software is for windows, freeware, shareware or retail. Doesn't matter. What do you use on a daily basis / have to have?

I use this under Windows to access my Linux box over the network. It is an excellent terminal emulator (with SSH support) for windows.

Actually, they didn't.
Boot from your install disc, choose recovery. You'll have the option to format.

you could just format with a dos boot disk.. but to get it back on topic, here are a few more good software choices

shit... other software i use all the time... hm, theres a ton of it (in no paticular order)
ANYTHING by Adobe (photoshop and aftereffects expecialy) DC++ and BCDC++ Nero Burning Roms Goldwave BulletProof FTP PowerDVD Avid DV Express Audiograbber PTGui CloneCD ISObuster and WinISO Trillian Serv-U ftp server Diskeeper
theres a ton more, but thats just what I like using the most

It is cool to see so many people using SSH these days. I was one of the original SSH developers that ported the code to Solaris X86 and DGUX back in the mid 90's. Seeing where SSH has gone is kind of like watching your kids grow up.
