Will everyone else have an 8th? One will not be enough for four people.

Vitamin C will not make your trip more visual, or whatever. That is a myth. But juice is always good to drink for hydration and enjoyment

Not sure about Pump Up the Volume or Better Off Dead - lame 1980s John Cusack teen movies seems rather bland and uninspiring for a psychedelic trip.

I suggest:
nature
salvia
syrian rue
good pot/hash
a clean, uncluttered apartment
pillows and blankets
Dali prints/books
nature documentaries
collection of Icaro songs
physiological music (i.e. techno, dub, dnb, house, psytrance, etc.)
fruit
instruments
William Blake writings
the Psychedelic Experience by Leary
classical music (Bach, Mozart)
and most important - silent darkness

I guess you should ask yourself why you want to have a psychedelic experience in the first place. Then seek that particular fulfillment.

good suggestion my good man

Also, try to download a copy of OM: the Sound of Hinduism by Alan Watts. You can probably find it on Kazaa. Here's a quick review

If you have any photography books, check em out.  You will see some beautiful things.  Have a wonderful time, remember you can come back anytime you want.  Shrooms are awesome

Alex Grey artwork!!

Dumbly enough I have yet to look at that while tripping, but now that I've bought Trasfigurations it shall be my new trippy compadre;)

My first time I split an 8th with one other person, I wouldn't have wanted much less, so yeah, is the 8th for all 4 of you? Depending on your sensitivity it may do something but very low level when split 4 ways.

I just realized that you've probably already had your trip by the time I was posting this.... oh well.

How was it?

art books are nice... monet, dali, magritte, mati klarwein, alex grey, escher, bob venosa...
sometimes story books (myths & poems, fables & fantasies, folk tales & fairy tales...) _world tales_  of nasruddin stories or sufi teaching stories by idries shah; _the joyous cosmology_ by alan watts (esp if you can get the book version, with lovely black & white photos); _the mystery of things_ by patrick le nestour; danny kaye's _folktales from around the world_ .... poems by whitman, bly, ginsburg, snyder, rumi, gibrahn... the tao te ching (there are several editions/translations out there, sometimes with stunning photgraphic accompaniment)... carl sagan's _cosmos_ or _murmers of the earth_ are visually appealing, as well as mind-stretching textually  ...

Shit, the mushrooms didn't come through. Good suggestions though, and it was 1/8 per person. I'm (hopefully) only postponing it one week to next Saturday.

It's OK, the way I see it, the mroe I go through the more I will enjoy the experience when it actually happens. I've got a definite connection this week though. Next Saturday I will report back.

all you really need is warm clothes, nice weather, and a positive state of mind.
