You've got Psilocybe cubensis and Panaeolus antillarum.

This thread isn't the best place for ID requests, but it's not a big deal. Creating your own thread for ID requests exposes it to a broader range of users.

I need some epic photos of mushrooms growing within their natural habitat, so that Florida can win a nomination for the August photo of the month award.

Nice first time post! One word of advice I'm sure many people are thinking about is please, next time, bring a pair of scissors or a knife with you so you can cut the stems. When you pull out the mycelium (roots) it damages the patty as a whole and may not produce fruit again because of it. Happy hunting.

In my experience with coprophilic fungi it has never effected the mushroom growth either way and doesn't make a difference if it's pulled out or cut with scissors.

Thanks to all for the replies I will definitely take the pic before pulling  them. Now are they all safe to consume?

Your 2nd photo is not Psilocybe cubensis. If you're lucky, it may be Panaeolus cyanescens. The rest appear to be cubes.

Not sure which pros you are referring to.  I found a ton of P. cubensis yesterday.

It does seem that everyone has slowed down on posting their finds, but it is not due to lack of fungi, maybe they are enjoying them instead of documenting them.

Alan R where those found in Mexico?

I walk by cubensis and sometimes accidentally step on them when I'm hiking. There's just too many to fathom so I tend to leave them alone.

Thank you very much!  I noted the copyright.  Does that mean I cannot choose one for photo of the month?  I have narrowed it down to a few, even though they do not count for this thread, lol.

Here are my recent cube pics:  http://mushroomobserver.org/173380

The copyright on these is almost as free as it could be - cc 3.0 commercial use license.  Anyone can use any of my pics for whatever they want, even sell it, as long as they give me credit.

If you wanted to nominate it for pic of the month you would need to post it on shroomery and then nominate.  I always intend to post all my pics on shroomery, but I have a backlog of about 5000 pics that I need to upload to mushroomobserver, so I rarely find time to make shroomery threads - seems more important to get them online at MO.

I know these Mexico pics are a bit off topic in the Florida thread, but someone needs to post P. cubensis here....

What's been up my fellow ninjas. looks like my favorite thread been falling off a bit. I know veteran hunters get tired of posting all there finds and sometimes just too busy. Or maybe not much going on . Anyways wish I was still down south and hunting.  Just wanted to say hello and hope everyone having safe and happy summer.
