On one of his spoken word albums, Jello Biafra said that California was a "testing ground for advanced society control".

Look at what the people of California have been settling for and falling for as of late.
I'd like to think they arent just stupid and lazy, instead, they are falling prey to mediaganda and affluenza.
The younguns need to step education of the masses up to counter this crap.
I should check in on how the protests in SF are going. Im betting it was a sad turn out compared to the tens of thousands of students and residents who should have gotten off their computers and into the streets.
No stranger to sequels, California Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger hopes to sell the state on the virtues of electricity deregulation for a second time, despite the expensive legacy of the first attempt. What a fucking joke.

For the record, the Caifornia electricity market was not truly deregulated - the regulations were merely changed in some areas, new ones adopted and others abandoned. Of course the statists will use this government created mess as an argument against free markets, that's always the way it is with dishonest people.

Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

for the record, it sucked no matter to what degree it was truly deregulated.
it will be political suicide for arnold to get behind this considering the late developing misgivings about his possible ties to the energy giants.
he's looking more and more like the GOP bitch and less and less like the independent reformer...
