Substrate Question

I just recently recieved 2 spore prints from a friend vacationing in Koh Samui. But I don't know what substrate to use. He recommended Finch seed, but since all my experience is whit organic brown rice flour, I'm not sure what to do or even what type of finch seed to get.
The friend gets back in 3 months and I'd like to have some of his "gifts" waiting for him.

very interesting. wrong place to post, though.

a finch is a bird - mostly 'finch seed' is millet. just be sure to get a kind that is untreated, and rinse it well just in case.

Hi, I use from agar to ryeberry seed and grow them in terrariums with pasturized wheat straw and horse dung compost. I posted the process in the grow log forums under ether Ban Nathon or Ecuadorian shrooms. mj
