The nights lately have been dropping to low 50's already, from the usual low 70's.The first two nights i struggled to find a happy medium with the aid of a heating pad I have been able to keep the temps at 71-75. With the RH to 90-92 steadily I still have become skeptical and put my hygrometer(digital..I know..) into a bin with the salt/water to test accuracy. Conditions seem fine, FC being well off the ground for proper FAE, long with 12/12 lighting (both indirect and LED lighting). Due to my 12-14 hour work shifts I'm not able to fan as much as I would wish. I then rigged a hydroton filter to run 30 minutes , every other hour on timer. I'm not sure of the significance of the FAE from this but its better than none at all. Although i'm not using an advanced hygrometer , the 'min/max' results don't seem to fluctuate much. If anyone has any better timer setups please acknowledge me haha

The verm. on the perlite is due to a few of them taking a slight spill moving the FC , I was not impressed! This little guy looks like he took hit, salvageable? was one of the first pins before dunk.

Hydroton -
Two colonizing spawn bags(Koh samui, Treasure coast) have seemed to also "stalled", yet no conditions have changed so I decided to take them from the incubation area to an area with more air flow yet the same temperature (hoping FAE will help). Although a multi grain bag, should I gently mix the back to help mycelium growth or just stop being so impatient haha. The bags were inoculated on 8/21.

Inoculation of two more spawn bags were placed tonight (pictured above), this time after inoculation I mixed the bags up very gently with my fingers to spread the spores in hope of more even mycelium growth. Maybe to rid the clumping of growth, which could be for the worse but i'm trying bit of everything.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you put the proper amount of perlite (at least 3") it will hold RH better. Also a SGFC has plenty of FAE on its own, we fan after misting to create some evaporation not provide FAE. This means your air pump is not doing anything other than messing with the natural function of your chamber.
The SGFC was designed to be fairly automated and should work fine if left alone. A mist and fan in the morning and when you get home should be fine. I have left mine unattended for a week at a time.

FAE won't help in grain jars or bags. the filter prevents anything except gas exchange from taking place. if the bag has stalled, mix it/break it up, and smell thru the filter bag. it should smell like fresh mushrooms, NOT sweet at all. i can never smell thru jar lids, but bags i can when i mix. they generate ALOT more heat than jars, so be careful putting them that close together, and in something that retains heat (like the aquarium u have them in).
what did u noc the bags up with, spore syringe?

Understood, I wasn't sure if a container with "stale" air would make a difference with air exchange, as the aquarium it is sitting in has an open top i'll make sure to keep an eye on the temps with the bags. Yes, ll of the spawn bags were inoculated with a spore syringe.
