But I'm taking the steps necessary to curb it and calm myself. Most of the time, when I become angry, it's a brief thing. Like, I'll spend a minute or two extremely heated, heart pounding, and thoughts racing, but then I'll take a few deep breaths, remind myself that whatever just pissed me off is never worth a malfunctioning heart, and just...you know...calm down.
I get a little better at this every day.

my outlook is that what ever is done is done, getting angry doesnt change it, it simply slows me down from fixing the problem

People tend to get angry about situations-- generally when something doesn't go they way that they want, or the way they perceive it 'should' go. Anger, and passionate anger in particular, is natural but it obscures one's ability to stay clear and focus on the task at hand--that being fixing a particular situation.
I find that if I can get a grip on my anger and somehow transfer that emotion into tenacity and laser focus I can usually solve almost any situation that pisses me off.
The converse is also true. Because anger is such a natural emotion there are times that I can't stave it off. When it rules me, I find that I am almost always ineffective at solving whatever it is that made me angry in the first place.
I work in a very high stress, professional position and this approach has served me quite well. It did not come naturally, but evolving this approach was one of the most worthwhile things I have actively reshaped in my personality.

Yeah sometimes if enough bad things accumulate over a course of time I'll just snap, and get an intense desire to just smash shit up. I can usually settle it though with just some deep breathing. 5 minutes with the punch bag or the vape is even more effective.
So yeah if my luck is bad enough, I do have the potential to build up a bit of a temper, but luckily i'm very good at settling it.
The shit some people get wound up about boggles my mind.
