Sheepish said: Definitely burn a CD for the trip. One of the worst things I can imagine on a trip is forgetting to bring some music, or having none nearby. Remember, your emotions will be amplified during a trip, so pick music to suit what you're wanting out of a trip. Trust me, the right music on a trip is FAR from boring For added enhancement - lie under the stars on a clear night, with your music and shrooms. Brilliant.
i know you posted this like 2 years ago, so you may not replay to it, but i noticed you have Devin Townsend in your avatar. I am a big fan of his music (actually they are my favorite band), and was wondering if you have ever listened to his music while shrooming. If you have, do you find it enjoyable and euphoric like i do on other drugs, or is it different with shrooms? Cause i would love to blast the earthy tones of Terria, or the euphoric whitishbluishpurple (only way to describe it lol) sound of Accelerated Evolution. I just love the way his music goes with my dxm trips, and was curious if they do the same with shrooms. Maybe blast some devlab and freak myself out for life

Am I the only one who doesn't find music 'enhanced' during a trip? My mind tends to wonder too much to even notice the music.

I'm kind of half between ninjapixie and the others. I do find it hard to concentrate on music and i get really distracted. i think unconsciously the music kind of carries my mood.
Last time I listened to some Jimi Hendrix on 1.75 grams and I noticed that on headphones the sounds seemed much wider. In a way it was like weed how I was in the moment with the music, but also moments melt together so songs seem to be over pretty fast. Some stuff like effects on Jimi's guitar and left/right panning sounded awesome. i got some really mild synesthesia type effects, like I could see or associate certain colors in my mind with certain guitar tones. Pretty cool, but I think I was too scattered to really enjoy the music itself.
