Well, have you been arrested? If the cops don't have your fingerprints yet then they don't know who you are. And, there are so many fingerprints everywhere that unless there was other evidence laying around identifying you, then you're probably OK. I would worry more about your friend rolling over on you. Edit: 69, dudes.

It all depends upon your friend. If he keeps his mouth shut and takes the rap, then they will have no reason to fingerprint anything. If your friend implicates you, then they might fingerprint to add evidence against you and to support your friends word against you.
> If the cops don't have your fingerprints yet then they don't know who you are.
Yes, but his friend does know who he is. Once they printed the jars (or whatever), the cops would then get a court order to fingerprint the person his friend implicated to look for a match.

If your friend gets raided, he's going to roll over on your ass like no other. Don't think he won't. It's not his shit, it's yours, so you should take the blame for it. And he'll make sure you do. And cops can be pretty convincing and buddy-buddy with you after a bust.

You have no friends. If your friend is looking at something like 5-15 years of jailtime I bet he'd narc you out in a second. People are only human.

Yeah, I just heard about some guy who narced out his MOM in some murder trial.
If a guy can narc out his mom for a reduced sentence, then your "friends" will roll you over to get out of jail time. I guess they'll expect you to do the same to someone else and have you both come out unscathed.

To be fair, I have been one of the "friends" that the cops worked on to get to other people. They (the cops) are evil in the tactics they use. I took the rap solo, and ended up getting a suspended sentence which disappeared after a few years of being good. Sometimes the little guys do win.
1) not everybody will give up their friends to the police 2) the cops are fucking evil when trying to create a narc 3) know your rights and refuse to speak without legal council 4) see number three

just your friends word and even your finger prints on items in HIS house would not be enough to get a conviction. I doubt it would even get the cops interest. they already have who they want. its his house, even if it is your shit, he's in it.

If the cops have a kg of coke with my prints all over it and a narc that says that the coke is mine, then they are not going to ignore me. Granted, this is a different scenario than a little big of weed, but you can't make a blanket assumptions when a mistake means life in prison.

If you don't have any coke at home, you don't have much to worry about. And if the kg was at the narcs house, hes going down. I was a little broad saying the cops wouldn't be interested, but some guy who had his door knocked down and caught with a grow-op saying "It isn't mine, its this guys" isn't going to have a lot of credibility. Usually the reason you have an op in a different location is to keep your primary location clean. In that case, even if the cops do come to check you out, they'll just get pissed at the narc for bad info.
