Edible sclerotia forming species? Level of difficulty

Hi,
I've been reading StoneSuns' TEK about growing psilocybe containing sclerotia species.
Are there edible sclerotia species that can be grown in a similar with with a similar level of difficulty?
Regards, Pleats

Polyporus tuberaster and Wolfiporia extensa are the only edible cultivated sclerotia forming species that i know of.

Naah Im a newbie at mushroom growing, eating and anything related as a matter of fact But I did have the same idea as you a few days ago and those two species are what i came across (and cordyceps- colonised caterpillars seem to count as sclerotia). The Wolfiporia was mentioned along the lines of a famine food and a medicinal so i guess its not extraordinary tasteful.

Haha me too. I haven't eaten psilocybe containing sclerotia either but I've heard it being described as having a "nutty taste". That's pretty much my reason for asking.

Morels form sclerotia, but the sclerotia aren't edible as far as I know.
