Thats sounds like that would be some fun. Theres used to be a old abandoned retirement home aroud where I lived which I still thought was creepy...just knowing that people have died in this building and was always dark. But it was a rush to go exploring in the building. Have fun man.

thw band Jesus Wore Dickies made an album based somewhat on this concept.. they hid $20,000 on terminal island (san pedro, ca) and their album is a series of clues to find the 3 boxes with keys leading to the treasure... "jump the fence and what do i see? a happy abandoned cannery.." "my brick through the window, my flashlight in hand.. mike1's over there fallin from the ledge.. once inside, you will find... the cops know, cuz i broke the window... backpack, black pants, black shirt, flashlight, all purpose pocket tool, grappling hook, rope and you.. these are the things that you need if you want to follow me.." i've always wanted to go exploring some abandoned buildings over there.. lots of cops, tho..

Hehe! You'll have a blast, trust me! Just be careful, though. We once explored an old abandoned hospital in the town I used to live in, and it was freaky...and fun! Oh and here's a good website made by some hardcore urban adventurers I think you'll find interesting. The Action Squad Have fun!

infiltration.org is great
I keep hearing stories about abandoned psychiatric hospitals, there was one here in town that people sneak into now and then until it was torn down, and I've heard from people around the US and Canada sneaking into them. There must be a lot of abandoned psychiatric hospitals around.

Some of my friends snuck into an abandoned psychiatric hospital and threw a party and everyone got completely wasted. They said there were all these crazy devices in the rooms and shit, but eventually the cops showed up and they wound up getting probation and community service and shit. Just don't do anything stupid.

This is my main hobby. One of my very good friends runs www.darkpassage.com Infiltration.org has a lot of great material and a great message board. I've gone exploring all over the US, Europe, and almost anywhere I go. Abandoned mental hospitals are my favorite, they are all over the northeast USA, especially Massachusetts.
