Prepairing a casing for second flush?
    #2033475 - 10/22/03 07:55 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

I've pulled the very first first flush off a casing, and now I would like to know how should I prepair my it for the second flush.

The casing was made from a sigle BRF cake, cased out of strait verm, in a mixing bowl.

The first flush yielded about 50grams wet. I'm sure the casing has more to give, but I don't know if I should place it back in the incubator, give it a light mist, or add more verm.

Any help?

Dunk and refruit. My friend just dunked his very first popcorn casing but in an attempt to refruit it broke it into a million pieces, so now it's just sitting in an terrerium all broken. He's just lazy. He'll clean it up once it starts to smell like shit.

I Tried misting the casing. That may have been a mistake. The fuzz looks washed away. Do you think it will grow back?

dude don't worry, just mist your casing once a day for about 4 days and you'll start to see pins again. dont dunk your casing or you may risk contams and other bad things. just mist mist mist! Not too much! Also, add a little peroxide to your water you use for misting, this will help you out with contams...
