well, i just looked it up, and its just an incubator.
Seems like a lot for what 2 rubbermaids and a fish tank
heater can do.
In saying that, i used my chickens incubator to
germinate some Psilocybe semilanceata spores.

You can fit a shit load of jars in a rubbermaid, and you can't fit a quart jar into one of those Hovabators. Don't waste your cash, spend it on a large homemade one, it just makes sense.

I have a hovabator. I bought it to incubate bearded dragon eggs. The way it is designed, there are canals at the bottom and a screen grill that go over these canals. What I do, when incubating eggs is, I fill the canals with water and put a sponge in the middle for extra absorbsion. I will be using these to incubate my jars as well. The only problem with this setup is that it's a bitch to clean out, since its Styrofoam. I am going to mod it later on by attaching the top part of the incubator (part with the heating coils and thermostat) and seal it on a rubbermaid bin, thus making it easy to clean out and able to put more/larger jars inside of the incubator.

Hope this helped.
