I like it too. I have the copy pictured above which was edited by Stephen Mitchell. It's a very nice hard copy edition.

I've read alot of books in the spiritual genre, and these are the top 3 of hundreds that I've read: 1: The Childen of the Law of One & The Lost Teachings of Atlantis by Jon Peniel (sounds kinda corny but super mind blowing/life altering/unbelievable /must read, etc.) 2: Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda 3: A Yogi Approach by Danijel Turina
Cheers to all fellow explorers!!!! )

Illusions by richard bach was an amazing book, i completely agree on that one, a definite read.
The Daodejing, or "Classic of the way and virtue" i thought was interesting, though (as my name states) i'm more into Zhuangzi's teachings (more taken into account about problems of wu-wei).
And, for those who are looking to read the famous Daodejing, Tao Te Ching is the wade-jiles translation which is being phased out, the Pinyin translation is the title "Daodejing", which is becoming more commonplace.
The translation by Lau in 1963 is supposed to be one of the more compreshensive translations (according to the scholars in the field)
I've been interested in reading that book by the paramahansa yogananda, but havent heard much about it except for his own words on it..anyone have any comments?

I personally read half that book and then set it down to collect dust. It's got a strong fictional vibe to it IMO.

nice bookshelf there Enter...
i would add:
The Magician's Workbook by Don Tyson
an excellent introduction to practical personality development and ceremonial consciousness expansion...
Sexual Alchemy by Don Tyson
some astonishing secrets revealed...
The Middle Pillar by Israel Regardie
solid theory, and some very potent technique.
Gems from the Equinox by Aleister Crowley
i Will say what i truly intend to say about this book.
and,
Tetragrammaton: The Secret To Evoking Angelic Powers and the Key to the Apocalypse by D. Tyson
i hesitate to list this book because of it's implications, but it is an elegant and effective Reality Control System.
