This plant interests me imensly. The way the fungus passes on it's spores through thee seed is the coolest.

Anyone know the chemical content of the fungus though? I know it has lsa but the symptoms described in poisoned horses don't sound like lsa to me. It seems almost like ergot.

well it sounds plausible that there is ergotamine or similar compounds in it aswell. these are not compounds to be messed with.

i'm doing to research atm. i'll post again if i find anything worthy of note.
