Help identify Psilocybe, please.
    #2028756 - 10/21/03 02:48 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

I discovered these in Issaquah, WA today and I have to admit I am a little stumped...  They blue like crazy and look like ringers (yet have no rings)...  Anyways, I found these in a lawn where I have previously found ringers and baeo's...  I plucked them assuming they were ringers, yet they yield no ring or remnant of rings and the stem seems to be completely white, another trait I do not find common in Stuntzii.  I'm still convinced they are Stuntzii.  Anyways, thanks for the help ahead of time, here are t3h p1c5.

Oh yeah, I am workin on a spore print, but I think we all know what color it will be.

All of the lil' mushies i plucked...  There were lots more, but hell, I am not even sure what they are :frown:.

A shot of the cap. Note they grey much broader and almost lost the nipple with age.

The gills, as usual, became much darker with age.

The stem has blue'd intensely even since this picture was taken.

Thanks again,

-bc

They look like old Stuntzii. The ring will fade after a few days.

Yeah that's what I thought, but on young specimens, ones that were not there the day prior, they have no veil... Oh, and when they began drying they became a much lighter color, almost a tan or off-white color, unlike the stuntzii's I have dried.
