this is what works for a FOAF. He slowly brings a pot of WBS to a boil for about 10 minutes then he drains it adds more water and a couple of drops of Jet Dry then brings to a boil again. Next he drains it for about 5 hours, than he adds enough dry WBS to the bottom of his jars ( just enough to cover the bottom) than fills him with the drained boiled WBS than PC's. So far it has worked every time. The dry Wbs at the bottom absorbs any extra moisture and the innoculum.

The first time i used it i did a pf style mox of 50% verm, 45% millet and 5% brf - then added water as you would for a brf cake. Go from there, just taking the verm out and it will work out.

Here man,
http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23308
http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23322
http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23619

I recommend to do a test cause grains are not the same everywhere. Try with different amounts of water such as 80-85-90-95ml and see what works best for you. Just as an example, the rye I get requires 120 ml of water per pint jar (100 gr rye).

boil it until it takes up no more water....
Drain it for 1/2 hour.
Load your jars....

Do not let it have too much moisture!!

G2G, agar wedge..shake after 10 days or when colonising good.
Sometimes 5 days...you gotta look at it.

White millet works good...

when it is first transfered...it will start to colonise the jars.
Not sure what you have...quarts or what....
If quarts....when its starting to get good growth...look and see if its colonising good.
If it appears to stall....shake those jars!

It will look like you killed it all:)
Just wait...at this point it will rebound...and fully colonise in a few days.

Air is key....filter discs are good..or open the lids.
It can ferment...lack of air is no good.

Less water is better.

try to simmer, not boil. just heat it up so that its really steamy so it can soak completely. you no not want a rampant boiling.
