Fruited this tray a bit too early. What to expect?
    #20278761 - 07/15/14 09:06 PM (10 years, 6 months ago)

This tray of BRF/coir was thrown into the SGFC a day or two too early. Obviously it's not 100% colonized yet, what should I expect from it? It's been in there for a few days now. I thought I'd just say fuck it and see what happens, but nothing at all is happening. I figured I'd either see it colonize more or produce pins by now.

Have you done anything like this where you introduced fruiting conditions a bit too early? I don't see any contams but I am concerned as to why literally nothing has happened.

coir is great for things like that and it's just taking awhile because ...you fruited it to early and even if it wanb't too early it's still only been a few days so don't sweat it just yet just keep misting as needed

I hope by BRF do you mean you spawned fully colonized BRF cakes.

Ok cool. I won't worry about it then

Yeah I broke up my 100% colonized cake into little pieces and mixed them with the coir.
