I have this protein drink powder and i was wondering if you could use water with that solution mixed in it along with the brown rice flour and make the pf tek way better by introducing more nutreints via the the whey powder protein drink

I brought this up about two weeks ago using textured vegetable protein and pretty much got shot down because "newb's should stick to BRF/verm" anyway, I wasent terribly enthused by the lack of giving a crap, so i'm gonna do t anyway. but yeah, go for it. I'd recomend a 10-20% ratio of protein supplement to BRF... (NOT including the verm.)
10% is probibly safe but low, 15% probibly perfect, and 20% is probibly too easy to contaminate.

You can't feed steak to shrooms... Blood, animal protein, etc... They are not on the menu for shrooms. They will not feed on it.

Would one of you biochemists out there like to tell me if the advantage of a protien supplement is simply an increase in nitrogen.
ie. is a protien suplement a nitrogen suplement?

Seeing as protein has a high nitrogen content, you didn't make a fool of yourself.

I wouldn't entirely rule out the possiblility of something like this hleping (manure, shrooms natural food in the wild contains protein.) However, I think even 10% would be way too much. What's good for human's isn't necessarily good for shrooms.

"A nation's hope of lasting peace cannot be firmly based upon any race in armaments but rather upon just relations and honest understanding with all other nations...

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed... The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. We pay for a single fighter with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people..."
