Question about pressure cooking Quart jars of spawn

I plan on PCing some jars of WBS soon, however I may have run into a small problem. My pressure cooker is a bit small for the quart size jars. Here is a photo of three of them resting of the bottom, note how close they are to the top of the pot.

I have just a little bit of room to raise them above the water level, but with that little bit of water I know it will all evaporate before the time is up. I could just PC one jar at a time on it's side (only one fits that way), but... that sucks. I would almost feel better buying a larger pressure cooker than wasting all that time and electricity.
So my question is, can I just let the jars sit in the water? Maybe wedge something like cutlery along the sides of the jars to avoid them shaking and breaking against the side?
Any advice on how to make it work with my current setup?

yea dude! i never measured mine, but if it goes up an inch, it goes up an inch, or more, etc. probably halfway up jar is max. cover lids with foil and secure with rubber band if water really high, ur good to go brother edit..but wait..u have a trivet or a thing that came with PC that the jars sit on, right? ur only talking water level right? u just don't want them touching bottom of PC

Nothing came with it, but I went to the thrift store and found something that'll work a while back. So they won't be touching the bottom. Glad to hear it's ok to get water on the jar!

i think you're a ok. Just put a thin towel on the bottom and raise the water up to about a quarter to halfway up the jars. it shouldnt boil dry, mine never has.

You're fine- can you really only fit three jars in there?
