Need criticism on my first grow plan

I've gathered everything I need and I think I'm ready to start growing, so I just thought I'd get some feedback on my setup to make sure I didn't overlook anything in my reading. Here's what I'm thinking so far:
In vitro The materials I already have: 10 One-pint jars - I know 1/2 Pint are reccomended for standard PF Tek but I haven't found much info on jar size for in vitro growing 1 Spore syringe Brown Rice (1/2 Cup per jar), vermiculite (1 Cup per jar), water (~1/2 Cup per jar) I'm also interested in Liquid Cultures because they seem to be a great way to grow practically infinite amounts of shrooms from one spore syringe. Is it a good idea to inoculate ~5 of my 10 jars using the spore syringe, then use whatever would remain in the spore syringe to start an LC? If so, how much of the spore syringe should I save for the LC? What is the best way to keep in vitro jars sterile? Is a glove box necessary, or can I just do it in a clean room after wiping everything with alcohol, or something similar? What should I use to cover the 4 inocculation holes on each jar while I steam sterilize the substrate, for example could I use ordinary duct tape? Lastly, any details that you feel I have missed or made a mistake on, please correct me. Thanks in advance!

Why are you growing in vitro? I suggest you fruit your cakes in a shotgun fruiting chamber(sgfc).
LC's are hit or miss. Some people swear by them and have had great luck with them.(The tub in my signature was grown from a syringe inoculated liquid culture, although I don't practice this technique anymore). Others hate lc's. Liquid cultures can hide contamination while appearing to be seemingly healthy, until you inoculate your jars. You can end up wasting a lot of materials, time and money on a dirty liquid culture. If you decide on the liquid culture route, you only need 1 cc of your syringe to inoculate it(you can even use as little as 1 drop). If you go the LC route, always test your LC on a test jar before you inoculate a large batch.
I suggest you buy this dvd and study it before you proceed: Let's Grow Mushrooms!

I'm looking for a discreet, cheap, and low maintenence way to grow, and at the moment I don't have the money to build the type of setup I would prefer. Space and stealth are also issues for me, as I have people coming to my apartment often that I don't wa I got the pint jars because I figured it would provide more room for the mushrooms, leading to higher yields to compensate for the slower growth. So basically, what I'm asking is how can I make the best setup possible out of the materials I already have?

Grow sclerotia, is the only real stealthy way to get results. You don't need a FC or a light to grow stones. You will want a pc tho for grains which are probably a better choice than cakes.

For shits and giggles I had just tried a stone grow with BRF in quart jars with SHIPs. You can shake up the brf/verm/coffee after sterilization so it acts more like grains. This way it isn't compacted like BRF cakes and you can get pretty substantial yields without needing a PC.
