IMO the general fear for drugs AND terrorism is irrational.... I think the fear for drugs and terrorism comes closer to the biggest threat to modern day society....

there is terrorism all around us. no one considers the KKK as terrorists, but that is just what they are, politically organized terrorists. or what about when the dirty polititioners bring in the crack and heroin? does that not cause terror? what about all of the gangs in the united states, those idiots are terrorists with their activity. or the law officials who chase fleeing vehicles just in hopes to catch the criminal, driving 90 mph isnt terror? its like the cops dont care about any innocent civilians unaware that not only 1 vehicle is driving 90, but 2 because the cop has to do his job, even if it means accidentally hitting a small child crossing the street.
ok, unless you absolutely have to be from another country and have big artillery to be a terrorist, i think i have a point here, the united states has been in constant terror since it started, when was there ever peace in the united states, never was, never will be(not unless the rest of the world is at peace too, and the US is no longer saw as the US) :P

The fear of terorism is used to control society and maintain the status quo, whereas increasing drug use has the opposite effect.

Actually its impossible to answer the question its WAY to black and white.
Consider drugs its not them being the mojor problem buth the people trying to make mone of of them, and people with no knowlede putting anything in there bodies. If they werent so many shabby drug delers big time growers illegal cemical factorys and gredy money laundrers much of the problems wold go away. This could be achived by legalising it then it could be rought into education say in scool and i promise the idiots doing drugs like insane factor wold decrese by 90%
Terrorisem is also seldom wath it looks like. I know i am threding near the edge no especially since most people on the forum are from the US and you frankley dont know SHIT abouth terrorism. The most part of terrorists is after all just week minded easy persuaded low and middle class people being controlled and manipulated by a cunning leder. And the leder usually has NO wathsoever moralic motive tak the latest you US have been hunting Usama bin Laden and Sadam Hussain both are non religeous entrepreneurs using the people that beleve i our fear them to achive there own goals (money power admiration etc etc etc)
Since the question onley states wath is the biggest thret and dosent go into wath aspect you mean its way to simply answer with a y/n.
