Abort or no?
    #20264185 - 07/12/14 07:26 PM (10 years, 6 months ago)

Is this an abort? It is discolored compared to the rest. More brown. And it looks a lot more brown in person. I don't think I've noticed much if any growth since yesterday.

I'm just asking about the one specific one. It is the only one in the entire FC that looks like that

Looks like verm.

None of those pins are aborted OP.

Do you have a picture of your fruiting chamber?

aborts will develop triangular, pointy heads.

all those pins are still pretty rounded.

Thanks for the replies!

Yes, it is rolled in verm.

I don't have a picture but it is a standard SGFC. I'm thinking I was misting too much the first couple days as I've noticed the fuzzy mycelium growth near the bases of some. I've decreased misting and increased fanning.

Is the sgfc built to specifications, or is it one of those cluster fucks that really look like they were constructed with a shotgun?
