Contamed Jar to cultivate outside o.O

So i've had a bunch of contamed jars that i've buried outside in the dirt and never had no luck with even one outdoor fruit. Anyone actually have luck at this? I wonder if it's because I live in a dry state like Colorado - and maybe it needs to be more humid. Even jars that I catch the contam before it colonizes alot and it's only on a few grains but the rest is colonized with nice mycelium i'll toss outside under some dirt.
Is there a better way to do this? Do I need to mix up so cococoir to toss outside with it? What's the deal?

I have. However, I live in Florida and during the summer, conditions are so ideal, I have had multiple success. Only ever 1 flush though. All I do is take the bad cakes, cases, jars whatever...go to a place in my yard where i've seen mushrooms come up. I barely bury them, maybe 1/2 inch if that. I don't put so much dirt but small pieces of mulch leaves, you can see in pic. Just some structure.

Thats awesome dude! Yea florida is perfect conditions for that. By the way, nice sig Kryptic. <3 I love anime style signatures, i've made hundreds of em. Kudos!
I guess it's just that I live in Colorado, and it's so dry here...it does rain n what not - but conditions aren't as ideal as say New Jersey or Florida where it is real humid and the soil is real soil not just 1 inch of dirt and then clay XD lol

Throw leaves and grass on top and keep them moist. Not sopping but moist and you will have your fruits.

A lot of times when that happens though the white mycelium is part of the mold and not mushroom mycelium.

Layer it with composted manure. Coir just sounds like a moldy mess outdoors

coir is fine outdoors, pasturize or sterilize first and if you have some compost throw a few handfulls in

It'd difficult for mold to germinate on coir. You could take a bucket of hydrated coir and stick it in your garage, basement, under a tree and let it sit for months without it going off on you.
Coir would be perfectly fine to use outdoors.

So what im hearing is, dont just dig a half ass hole and bury my grains, actually pasturize some coir, dig a hole and fill it with coir and mix in my grains? Maybe take a water sprayer and lightly water the area to keep it moist? Someone said, maybe shelter the spot with some leaves as well?
I only did this like a week ago, is it safe to say my grains are dead and just do it like this on my next time i toss a contamed jar outside?

If you're doing an outdoor grow the coir doesn't have to be pasteurized. It'd be fine just re-hydrated.

no it still needs heat treatment, coir is very hard for fungi to digest otherwise, it works but you should take full advantage of coirs ability's

I was actually JUST reading an old thread where RR was saying the same thing, that heating coir makes it easier to digest. I didn't know that, but it makes perfect sense.
Do you think the temperatures reached during the bucket tek are sufficient?

Sweet! Yea id rather do a quick bucket tech for outdoor grow instead of proper pasturizing.
