    #20263482 - 07/12/14 04:00 PM (10 years, 6 months ago)

I am fairly new to growing, started in feb, GTs been going nice and still going but getting hollow, but ne way my OI has colonized nicely but took forever to pin and only aborts. Down to two cakes of OI from rot out of six. I fan out twice a day, keep FC @ 99 and ave temp of 72. 12-12 of light. What am I doing wrong?
Def like them bcuz  o the clean high n nice warm waves instead of cold

From what i've read it seems like the problem is coming from your fruiting chamber set up. take a picture of your fruiting chamber its always easier to tell what's wrong if their is something to look at.

also heres a few things that you can try next time that will help increase your yield.

let your cakes consolidate for a week after the jar was fully colonized.

dunk your cakes for 24hrs and roll them in verm.

mist your cakes right before you fan them. Evaporation off the substrate helps produce pins.

heres how your fruiting chamber should be set up.
