And what about the 2nd jar/dish?
You must sterilize between jars to prevent cross contamination.

HigglePig said: Almost any post on this site with someone mentioning they do LC has at least one (and usually more) person chiming in with something along the lines of "LC? I stopped reading right there. You'll never get shit to grow and you're an idiot."
But to be like "You might as well have injected warm cat piss into those jars, you'll never grow shit and you're worse than stupid for thinking LC was functional," seems pretty effed up to me.
I've read a lot of anti-LC posts and don't recall anyone saying that. I think you're being a little dramatic. (Except the "I stopped reading right there" part.)
People in the anti-LC camp, such as me, consider it high risk when straight from MS or MS Grains and not as good as G2G. LC has a place, but not for noobs with an MS syringe.
We only think your stupid if you get butt-hurt when we point out the risks and offer a better alternative. But who cares what we think when you have a vat full of LC and are ready to take over the world.

The needle never touches anything. No need to. not too mention the inside of the syringe needle is what you are cleaning when you flame sterilize it. I went syringe to agar, to lc, to grain. And no you don't have to sterilize the needle between jars, maybe if the needle touches something unclean, but like I said I only needed my syringe to inoculate the agar. Once I was up to lc, I used a syringe to inoculate grain jars, but once again, I opened the lids squirted the lc inside, closed jar, moved on to the next, making sure not to touch anything... but the inside of the jar lid is clean anyways...as well as the inside of the needle.
