pure nicotine is used as a pesticide, and yeah, it will kill you if you O.D.

i left mine hanging inside for a few weeks and it got super crumbly, it is smokable but looks nothing like the stuff bought in the stores. would wetting it down and drying it again be of any use?

i don't know, but i think thats how normal tobacco iscured....dry...wet some, and let it dry...for like three months or so... That text was from another site, taken from somewhere else, so im not sure of the source, but on that other side it was posted after someone commented on experimenting with a quid....seems to be common occurance. I have lots of nicotina rustica seeds, if anybody want to trade anything for them... And i've also been collecting the flowers since the beginning of this thread, and they are curing nicely...just sitting in the open in shade...im hoping to try some soon. And that stickiness on the rustica is CRAZY! some of my leaves are oozing out what must be pure nicotine...from where the sun hits it...looks like melting wax almost, theres so much...crazy....

so did anyone figure the best way for curing. I don't understnad the leave them in a tight paper bag idea. Could you elaborate? Sorry I have another similar post before I saw this one.

I just let mine slowly dry on a paper towel in a dark area. Leaves are best smoked before the plant produces seed pods, and if you cut some off, the others will grow larger. I hear the flowers are smokable, but i haven't tried any i collected yet.
They are all molted now....and starting to rot from the condensation by my window, im throwing them out soon, but i got thousands of seeds from them! Next spring, ill do a crop for the leaves only.
