Cake stuck in jar.

Hi
i have some jar like that one

they have a large lid and from the apparance they should be easy to take the cake out of the jar
but they are still hard to get out.
any got trick to get the cake out of the jar ?

Turn them upside down and slap them on a folded towel on the counter.

A towel on to of a book, where leather gloves (or any gloves that are not latex), slam it down hard a few times.

Or I have filled the jars with water to "dunk" them and they usually float to the top after a few hours.  I would try the dunk first( you gotta dunk em anyways) then slam em if needed.

Don't break the jars

Smack them a few times on a towel on a hard surface

if they don't get loosened, try putting your palm under the top of the jar and slamming it against your other palm. this is actually much more efficient due to how inertia works and with a few solid smacks should get the cakes loose

if both of those fail, take a thin butter knife and slide it up the sides to loosen, then do the above.

Ya since they're wide mouth it will come out eventually.  Sorry about that comment on breaking the jar.  That was a little too far on the "joking" side of things.
