does anyone know if dryy ice will keep the shroom in it's original form??
i read in stamets...that freeze dryers would vaporize all the water contains in the shroom and keep it's original form....
that would be good if i had one......

i quote from page 157 of TMC "since commercial freeze driers are prohibitively expensive, few home cultivators can afford them. Many people have discovered, however, taht mushrooms placed in frost-free refrigerator are almost as well preserved."

so if i put shrooms in the refrigerator..it'll retain it's form???

Any look at store-bought mushrooms in the fridge after a few weeks will verify this.

Food dehydrators are the way to go.
