That coffee pot is to big for her, the one in the lower middle would have been a better candidate for the coffee pot, she would have been fine in the same size cup for a little while longer while she bounced back.  I would have just drilled holes in the bottom of the cup she was in and let it almost completely dry out before getting on a better watering schedule.  Dont water the entire pot, there arent roots to use the water up, it will sit and stay soggy.  Keep a check on the area immediately around the plant.  Learn to water by the weight of the pot.  Heavy means its good, light means give her a drink.  Although I'd wait a a day or two to let her recuperate from drowning.  She'll go from droopy to perky, almost to the point of leaves standing up, then if you continue to withhold water, she will go limp and fall over.  The trick is to use the weight of the pot and the stature of the leaves to know when.  Eventually you'll be able to look at a plant and know it needs water without even picking the pot up.

This is why I was left scratching my head but it must have been due to over watering

I had to clue you could do that? I'm just breaking out of the nervous stage where you start figuring out how tough these plants can be lol. Also I agree it look huge but hopefully will expand and look natural. Oh just a personal planters question, what are signs that you look for when you're wondering when a good time to transplant is?

I know this is a joke, but :facepalm3: , dont confuse this poor guy.  Typically transplant when it's as tall as the planter it's in, but that's not always the case, as if the light is to far away, they'll stretch reaching for the light and may be taller than the container, but have under developed roots.  Or switch to peat pots so you can see when the roots have poked out and filled the container it's in.

Oh and thank you everyone once again (: she has stopped welting and is looking like she will see better days. I'll work on taking better care of her lol. There seems to be one thing I don't fully understand and thats the watering by feeling how heavy the pot is.. you see I use a spray bottle (one spray per plant.) Which never seems to add weight but I would like to figure that trick out!

I've grown for several years as well hydro and soil, and even giant indoor raised beds. If you transplant a seedling that just has it's first set of true leaves, it hasn't had time to amass that much of a root system or get root bound, true leaves take <5 days to open up once the seed pops out of the soil, no need to stress the newborn.  You want the container to fill with roots before you transplant, not let it get root bound.  And a 12" plant in 12" planter will only be root bound if it's a narrow ass container, the width of the pot is just as important as the depth.  Are your starts in the giant pots seeds or cuts?  There is a big difference between the two.  I'd have never transplanted the stressed one, it was already stressed enough. I would have added lots of drainage holes and put a fan on it to let it dry out before doing anything to it and used that coffee pot for one of the bigger healthier ones.  OP they're tough little plants, you literally will have to try to kill the damn things.  Definitely check into the airpots, they are the shit.

The rounded leaves that first show are cotyledons the next set that look like actual MJ leaves are the true leaves.

Popcorn, thats a pretty decent set up, but unless you've got misters/foggers in those buckets, that's not a true aeroponics set up, it looks more like a recirculating deep water culture.  Man I miss having the ladies around.

Yea thats always a problem with recirculating systems.  Last grow I switched to a recirculating drip system that used 2 gallon buckets (one bucket with drainage holes inside of one bucket with a single return back to the res).  I used about 2" of pea gravel in the bottom of the drainage bucket to help weigh down and balance the plants since I was using 100% perlite and because every time I've used pea gravel in the bottom of anything, I've noticed the roots stop growing where the gravel meets the soil/perlite.  I didn't want the drains getting clogged and flooding everything out because I ran my drippers constantly being that perlite can dry out pretty quick.  I never did get to see the end of that run, thanks to some nosy ass neighbors and that dreaded knock on the door.

Haha at least you had a disposable, I had to use a tiny blender for 16 so I could flush them down the toilet. Surprised the damn thing still works lol.  I was about 4 weeks away, it's one of the saddest (non legality related) things you'll ever have to do as a gardener.

Looks like too much water you shouldnt have transplanted yet let the soil dty out before you water you want your plants to grow roots and look for water a little goes a long way
