trying to decide whether to retire this substrate

So I haven't been doing tubs long this is the 1st of the 5 I had made... it just put up its fifth flush, I was ready to toss it and it popped up close to 3 ounces in fruits om the bottom amd popping up the sides.
I kinda want to use the tub but I dont want to lose out on another flush.
It looks pretty nasty... anyone think it will put more up after this?

And do you have the option of putting it outside?

I just fixed the pic.
Good point, I might as well make use of the bin. If I knew for sure it would fruit again i think id keep it bit how can one know?
Hey while Im at it... i usually lay my floros on top of two bins each. But im thinking of stacking.... if I stack I can fit 3 to a lamp maybe more.
If I stand the floro vertically will they fancy one side of the tub over the other?
I can put the substrate outside, but did you mean the bin too? What do you do with it outside?

Just dig a hole shaped like the bulk brick and about maybe an inch deeper and toss it in then case it with some coir/verm or even potting soil or what have you, I do just a light layer

Im out of most casings I have some peat moss and maybe some potting soil.
Do you ever see results with that? You just leave it in the shade and hope?

Well, even if it doesn't work, you haven't really lost anything have you? Since it's almost dead anyway

a couple weeks ago there was a guy (don't remember who) that posted pics of his 8th flush from a monotub.. wanna say he at least got 1-2 oz.
so you never know
it's opportunity cost, really.
would you rather start anew, having to invest additional time and resources, but get more weight altogether?
or would you rather get everything you can out of this sub, at the expense of less weight compared to a new substrate you could otherwise be starting on?
I hope that made sense, it sounded weird when I proof-read.
