mini mono project
    #20240563 - 07/08/14 02:56 AM (10 years, 6 months ago)

Ok so ive been pretty busy with my cotton comp monos but ive found some time to start my mini mono project. the design is customized but follows the notmal mono setup for the most part. i just had to raise the roof alittle. im doing a new bulk sub for these which ill get into in a later update. My spawn is still a few days from being ready but i figured why wait til the last minute to have them ready.

 hey cronicr since your here mind if i get your input on this new bulk sub i was thinking about trying? I was going to do 50% cotton compost, 20% organic potting mix, 10% gypsum, 10% thistle seed, 10% straw and 1 table spoon each of bee pollen, sesame seed oil and B-1. Im trying to have slow release food and a great first flush. so what do you think?

Cotton compost is a mix made of the different parts of the cotton plant the mushiez really seem to love it.

word.  well good luck with it dude!!  i'd try to get out as much of the large pieces of wood you can.  not sure how it (peat based soil) will perform, but if its only 20%, who knows?  I think i used the same stuff as a casing before.  is the bag tan?  if i was home, id take a picture.  when i used composted casing with bark, peat, etc. the myc wanted to munch on it, so it took a while before pinning started vs. regular old peat/verm casing.
