    #2021888 - 10/19/03 01:37 AM (20 years, 5 months ago)

Judging by the icy chill in the air I think it is going to frost very soon. Due to absent mind I have some sseedlings outdoors that difinatly will ot survive indoors. is there anything i can do to stop frost from killing my little friends?

what kind of seedlings?

I was going to say put a frost blanket or bur-lapp over them, but they're seedlings so it wouldn't really work anyways...

Dig them up and bring them in? But first what seedlings you got out there.

It's my mandrakes I'm worried about. Maybe they can take a blanket cuz they are so set in the ground. What if it frosts in the day eventually/? little dudes need sunlight.

put 2 liter bottles cut in half or other transparent ventricles(cool word i thought i'd never have to use) over them if you suspect they will be subjected to frost. it acts like a mini greenhouse. just make sure that you take the shelters off of them in the daytime if it is warm enough to create air exchange and let them get sun.
