Spores released in the chamber on tinfoil, safe to use for syringe?
    #20218505 - 07/03/14 08:21 AM (10 years, 6 months ago)

My first go round with this, I just finished my first flush off nine cakes (~30g dry). There was one shroom I didn't pick in time, so the spores were released all over the tinfoil the cake was resting on. Is it safe to use those spores for a syringe, or since they've been so exposed it's best not to risk it?

I have my cakes in the fridge now for the second dunk, no roll from what I read. Hoping for some nice fruits on the second flush.

Take the cap and make a new print....I would not trust the ones on the foil.

Technically they would work, if you cleaned them up on agar first....

I'll just take some prints with my second flush. I only asked because this piece of foil is so saturated with spores I almost hated to throw it away, but knowing how far spores can go, this is hardly a waste.
