this is cool and everything but I watched the whole theory about the golden ratio or rectangle be disproven when it comes to ancient architecture. its kind of common sense...you can find that shit everywhere if you look at it the right way

interesting, it is true that there are mathematics involved in the way some plants are shaped. or the way anything is shaped for that matter.
anyway i use to love watching those cartoons, still do sometimes , i too have have noticed some trippy shit while watching them.

well the laws of nature coincide with mathematics, which is represented as abstract patterns and numbers. We as humans, pattern-recognizing organisms, can illustrate mathematics in the form of geometry.
the rules of mathematics can apply to nature, only because we have derived them from our own logical deductions of natural phenomena. Geometrical shapes and patterns have in-turn been derived from mathematics. We witness these "patterns" in nature, only because we have an understanding, due to our pattern-recognizing abilities.
It makes total sense that we would apply these principles to our own architecture, and can also recognize them in nature's architecture

mathematics implies predictability, nature, although shaped mathematically, does not mean it will move mathematically..

i wouldn't say it's "shaped" mathematically. we recognize the shapes in nature, only because we're able to deduce the patterns we perceive as mathematical representations.
how nature really really is, can't really be explained any other way, aside from mathematics derived from logical deduction
i'd say it's better to base reality on what's perceivable and measurable, rather than presuming it's something else. just for the sake of semantical correctness

That's cool toon, thanks for sharing Envix. I wish there were more such cartoons, not only on math but on electricity, for example.
