Proper SAB use

Hello all! Its been awhile since ive posted, its great to be back. I havent stopped cultivating but I slowed down alot.
So im working on some new KSS batch and wondering what is the most proper way to use a homemade still air box....the kind that is a big plastic tub with two hand holes cut out.
I usually clean the room and the sab with germicidal bleach spray, spray some in the air on my way out and chill for a bit.Ill wash up to my elbows then put on latex gloves and a dust mask, rub rubbing alcohol on my gloves soon as i get back in the room.
(Before any of this ill bang my colonized jars on a tire to break them up.)
I proceed to grain to grain xfer by loosening all my lids and then taking them off one at a time and tghtening them after i pour a bit in.
I do get contams sometimes, and ive always wondered if my sab technique wasnt on point...im pretty serious about not skipping steps and crap, but im sure there is more i can do.
I searched and couldnt find exactly what i as looking for.
I guess im looking for a more surefire way to do g2g xfers, the ghetto SAB is iffy. Someone point me in the right direction or shoot me some advice. Thnx peeps.

Not sure if you're doing this or not but you wanna take a spray bottle and spray inside the SAB. Make sure to spray all sides of the tub so airborne particles will stick to them when they make contact. When you spray the airborne particles will stick to the mist and settle with it to the sides and bottom rather than floating around in your workspace. Just try and make smooth and careful movements (no jerking motions) while still trying do be decently quick and efficient.

Thnx brother, much appreciated. I did this to the room itself but not the SAB itself.

make sure u wipe the space under the lid btw the jar (just above shoulder of jar) REALLY well with iso, use a cotton ball or q tip if u have to. that space is closest to the opening, and the one most often missed when wiping with a paper towel.

You got a picture or more detailed description of the place you are talking about on the jar? So right qhen you take the lid off , u take a alcohol soaked cotton ball and rub the inside lip of the jar?

No you wipe it before you open it and he means the part where the bottom of the lid meets the jar.

Do you take the spray in the sab while you work and spray inbetween each transfer? Just mist in the air in the box real quick then boom onto the next jar?

No just get the box good and wet. It will stay wet while you work. Do keep your gloves wet throughout the process however but mist them with alcohol outside the box. Spraying inside just moves the air around more.

And wear a surgical mask instead of a dust mask. The dust mask won't capture bacteria from your mouth. Also use antiseptic mouthwash before doing your work.

You put ISO in a spray bottle to mist your hands? I have just been pouring it but it is kind of a mess and uses more than necessary. I will do this. Thanks Pasty

Most sprayers will ft right into the alcohol bottle too so you don't have any water/alcohol confusions

I use soapy water instead of ISO ti wipe my SAB. I think I saw it in one of Frank's tek's, but the key is to get the walls and bottom with suds so contams stick to it. ISO will evaporate quickly.

It won't evaporate that quickly in a box with no air currents...trust me.

Well i went ahead and g2g xfered 16 jars. I set up my camping tent in my living room...cleaned it with bleach spray and setup a chair and snack table with my still air box on it. I feel really good about it and how it went, i wore my full suit and dust mask. I got my walls wet, they werent wet all over, but it was prolly the smoothest g2g xfer i think ive done yet.
Definetly like the idea of iso in a spray bottle, and for sure next time i will soap up my tub even more so its more prone to sticking the contams on the walls.
Also i didnt use mouth wash but i did brush toungue and teeth before putting dust mask on.
Any money from this batch ill grab me a 4x4 grow tent to setup my g2g lab, instead of using my camping tent haha.
I appreciate all the advice, we will see how much doing these extra things increases my success rate.

I mean... I want to trust you on this one but I've watched 70% and 91% iso evaporate before I get the lid on.. Maybe I should be splashing it on?
And this is Frank's tek where I originally got the idea.
