spicy pesto with sun dried tomatoes

okay your gonna need some pasta (your choice) basil fresh of course some sundried tomato, hot red pepper any kind really be it pepper oil, fresh or flakes, some butter 1/4 stick or so, some olive oil garlic, salt, cheese romano or parmesan and finaly some pine nuts if you have them if not its okay
this enough for three people
start to cook your pasta and soak your sundrieds in some hot water

take two cups of basil cleaned lightly and packed chop it up really fine
start heating a frying pan with a thin layer of olive oil get it nice and hot on medium heat
while heating chop up your three or four sundrieds
now put a handfull of pine nuts in the frying pan, 1/4 stick butter and sundrieds fry them for a minute or so now add the basil
galic to taste hot pepper to taste and salt a pinch no more and just enough water to keep it wet keep cookig and stirring untill the basil look somewhat like cooked spinachtake it off the heat put it on your pasta and add a little cheese
this is a very easy,fast and filling meal I hope you like it

do you just buy pine nuts when you need them or do you store them in the fridge? I remember they go rancid fairly quickly.
