I actually was thinking about the Blazers as an exception when I posted that.

Right on. I've quoted this before but you learn to like a team when they win but you learn to love them when they lose. I respect the enthusiasm in Seattle but it's nothing compared to Cubs fans or people who have loved Ole Miss since the '60's or whatever. IMO, present enthusiasm aside the PNW has the worst, and least knowledgeable sports fans in the country.

I'm just going off of what I've seen and heard on sports sites, TV, etc... I've never lived in the PNW.

As far as bad fan bases go, there is no argument Miami is by far the worst in the US.

The difference here is that when teams are losing they don't cheer for other teams. They just stop going to games or watching on TV. I'm not sure if that's better or worse.

It's true that fans all over Florida are fickle fucks about showing up but still people in Florida know their sports. Oregon and Washington? Puhleeze. Trust me, it's not the same.

For sure. Mariners suck always but I'm considering going to the indian series hete at home. Was going to 1. But took the weekend off to travel up there. Why the fuck not?

Need to talk to my dad. Used to work there for the games. Need to figure out how to sneak a 10$ pint in.

If the mavs have the legs they could be a real ass team.

They have some of the greatest players of all time on that team, granted a little past their expiration date but still. Dirk, Vince Carter, Chandler, Marion. Should be a fun squad.

@elax I've always liked the mavs. Dirk deserved that win I'm really glad he got a ring.

And i said i didn’t want Exum.

After watching his shit i stand corrected, dude looks like a baller, character is still a question but hopefully we can convince him to stay in town down the road, doubt it but heres hoping.

It was funny the way Jabarri Parker had a total preference for Milwaukee over Cleveland (He has family in Chicago). They thought he tanked his workout in Cleveland on purpose. This is the first guy in history who really wanted to be drafted by the Bucks.

3 of the first nine selections were Canadian. Maybe they mixed up which sport they were drafting for.

I'm starting to come to the realization that Chicago will get none of the big dogs. Trading their 2 midround picks for #9 was OK. They didn't want to have to sign two rookies anyway. They have some guy stashed away in the Spanish league but nobody knows how good he is going to be.

They keep saying LeBron will stay put. I guess Pat Riley is not going to fail 2 years in a row, and will find somebody new to help him out. LeBron says Napier was his favorite player in the draft.

Phil Jackson says he's taking Carmello at his word that he wants to stay in NY and will sacrifice for the team. We shall see.

I still think the Lakers will do something big. Maybe not. The West is so competitive it will take time to turn a team around. In the East it doesn't take much.

I can't believe I spent my time waiting for the Heat pick only to get Shabazz Napier get picked up 2 spots ahead.

We really needed him down here.

Looks like Wade and Bosh will be opting out in the next couple days to see if they can re-structure their contracts alongside LBJ.

So many needs to fill down here in Miami.

What I'm not surprised to see is the Rockets picking up that Swiss player no one has ever heard of to keep their cap room intact for possibly Melo or LBJ or both. Who the fuck knows at this point?

Lol. IKR?

Goes to show you what a joke of an organization Cleveland is and will continue to be for years to come.

Fucking sweet.

We are trading for SHBAZZ!
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/lebron-james-seems-really-happy-that-the-miami-heat-drafted-uconn-s-shabazz-napier-040639646.html

Looks like LBJ is staying in Miami. I don't know what strings he pulled or what cocks he had to suck in order to make this trade happen, but I'm pretty excited.

They seem to be guessing that Wade will negotiate to get more than the 41 million but it will be over 4 years rather than 2 so there is cap space to get someone else. Bosch will either have to play ball with Pat Riley or maybe he's gone. Napier is probably too young to make big impact right away, and they need Carmello or a big man. I don't know if they can open up enough space for Carmelo.

Or LeBron leaves and the whole league is restructured.

I don’t know about wiggins.

I liked him but he needs a lot of work. I think getting drafted by cleveland will be the worst thing that ever happened to him.

Jabari is a stud and could play anywhere, but even he knew Cleveland is doomed. Literally every player on that team is shit, including Kyrie.

Many ifs Brian Jones.

I would be more than happy to see Bosh go and obtain 20mil in cap space.

I really don't don't think Napier is too young to make an impact. If he backs up Cole, get rid of Chalmers. It's pretty black and white as far as I see it.

I don't want 'Melo here playing hero ball. He doesn't fit into the Heat organization. We need a proper back up 2 guard, as well as a center. Doesn't have to be a true C, just someone that isn't a pussy like Bosh.

You understand where I'm coming from as a Heat fan?

If was Reily I'd be going after Marc Gasol or even Zach Randolph.

1st is literally all that team needs, backup for Wade would be just peachy though.

Marc Gasol or ZBO and i’ld call the finals for the heat day after the trade.
