Force fruit mycobag
    #2015559 - 10/16/03 07:12 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

A myco bag isn't fully colonized yet, a little over half of it is inside and out it's been colonizing for over a month now, great looking myc growth by the way. But if removed from the bag and fruited would the myc growth that is present now fruit? I don't see why it wouldn't meanwhile the rest of the block would colonize then fruit in later flushes????? What are yalls thoughts?

The uncolonized stuff would contaminate.

It sounds like the bag should have been mixed before now. Mixing is known to speed things up. Just one or two times from beginning to end, mixing to much is bad. Mix once at 20% colonization and again around 70% or so.
Note: if there is contamination mixing will spread it around as well.

It isn't a spawn bag it's a wood base. Can I still 'mix' this? It had extra cc's of solution I might add so the myc growth is very "rhyze e morphic" you know nice thick and fluffy pure white. I don't think the rest of the bag would contaminate either. but maybe there is some other way I can achieve this another way.

Rhizo growth is the long slender strands of mycelium that reach out to new areas.

ah yes, the wood based. Yes you can mix it but be VERY carefull not to puncture the bag with any wood pieces that you may not be able to see until you try mixing.
Good luck

Alot of the pieces would probably puncture the bag. The ones I got had fair sized sharp pieces of wood. Its hard to actually mix you know, it's more like squish apart.
