Should I put this cake back in the Incubator?
    #2014817 - 10/16/03 01:50 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

My first cake colonized 100% 2 weeks ago. Took it out last week, cut in half, gave one half to friend, now have the other half for myself. His is already pinning, and his is nice and fluffy. Mine, on the other hand, is not fluffy at all, and no pins whatsoever. Is it because he got the top half, which was fluffier to begin with, and I got the bottom half, which is compressed because its been sitting on the bottom of the jar? I already dunk, coldshocked, and rolled this cake. What should I do?

Oh forgot to mention that...right now were both just using 2 liter bottles with perlite on the bottom. We both fan 3 times a day, and mist every other day. However I am constructing a Poor Mans Pod this weekend.
