If Psilocybes are Sacred to any of you...

...It would be rather timely, (if not overdue), to remove what clearly stands in opposition to what is Sacred. To do the same thing over and over again while expecting different results is illogical. To continue to develop and improve the atmosphere so that _experience_ itself is improved, is to see that mushroom-sponsored ecstacy is obtainable and dispersible.

You?re not much into the concepts of set and setting, are you?
And, doesn?t this post belong to Spirituality and Philosophy ?

I'm currently writing about a way to create a consistent set and setting for a very specific audience of psychonauts who venture solo. >And, doesn?t this post belong to Spirituality and Philosophy ? It doesn't always work that way. You see, there's these people we call "Admins" and they decide what happens here.
I can tap dance all I want. Until the admins collectively discuss how to improve the EXPERIENCE of this site, I'll tap dance til I'm dead without effect.
Give me some room to strut my stuff and I will.
/advises you to be patient. You shouldn't get so worked up over my posts, Anno. Patience.

I agree with Anno on this one. It is nothing personal. I do see you come up with ideas for quantum leaps in psychedelic mentality and understanding, which is great...if you pursue them.
If you don't pursue them or make progress, you can't expect others to get excited over them.
What I suggest you do is to make changes you can make on a personal level and ignore the population as a whole. Take small steps, eventually they will add up.
I liken your mentality to stopping a stampede by preaching to the herd. When what you really need is a well-thought plan, and follow through.
If you have suggestions for the admin, make them specific so they can address them in a specific manner.
What kind of reply can an admin give to, "Let's make this site better!!"
Yes, let's make it better by being specific and addressing one thing at a time.

Joshua, please continue to 'hear me out' as they say.
It should now be blatantly obvious to many of you (who have supposedly benefited in major ways from the ingestion of Psilocybin Mushrooms), that there is a VERY, VERY PRECIOUS aspect to life (ie to the human experience). There is also an opposite side to what is precious: The common and mundane. These two are not synonymous. They are very different.
With that said, it should be OBVIOUS to many of you that the PRECIOUS, the SACRED are to be esteemed aboved what is common, mundane, or downright ANTI-sacred. If I should have to go into details I would hope it would be done with a more unified receipt from those who respond, including our admins.
I'm sure some who read this post will sort of cringe and say "WTF is this idiot talking about?" And that's fine. These people are not acclaimated to experiencing something SPECIAL and wanting others to come along for the journey.
Bottom Line: Assuming those at this site aren't merely using P. Cubensis as an entertainment drug, we should be able to conclude that this species should be in the household of thousands of more people. This site can increase the intrigue of people by the site's PRESENTATION of what is supposedly SACRED. This means we should ESTEEM and REPRESENT Psilocybes far more than we currently are. Once we really grasp and believe in the experience of Psilocybes, the specifics of what needs to be further developed on this site will be obvious.
I trust you hear my side of the coin.

I think the Shroomery does actively pursue this goal...by providing accurate information to the public regarding psychedelic mushrooms. State explicitly what you think should change here.
Also, why have all of your posts in the Politics, Activism and Law forum been deleted?

Uh, that's a hell of an assumption, there...
That's like saying everyone also needs to visit the Louvre, raise pygmy goats, and climb Everest, just because those may be desirable life goals. That's the old spike the community reservoir with LSD and "turn on the world" argument, and that really did didn't work out so well. Especially, for people like Syd Barret.
Perhaps, just perhaps, if something is "sacred" then it isn't meant to be ingested by everyone and their red headed step child's three-legged dog. Perhaps different things are for different people, who may be on different journeys, at different points of their life...
If, on the other hand, what you are saying is that we have a lot of nimrods and "party-on"-style yahoos at this site, well then, you're right, but they also help balance out the intellectually pompous and spiritually fascist, so it's kind of a wash. In short, we're a dysfunctional, but happy, little family.
Different strokes for different folks. Do I like all of the opinions expressed at, and "messages" that radiate from, this site? No, but I haven't figured out how to make everyone think like me yet. I am working on it though, and when I figure it out, you'll be the first to know...
Oh, and yes, this is more of an S&P thread, and just what did happen to that earlier project you started in here?
PS: Sorry, but I just woke up; I Haven't had my coffee yet; and I step in here, and I'm all like, WTF?

All of my posts prior to three days ago have been removed by choice. I had accumulated too many that I felt caused me more paranoia than it did cause good for others to read. Besides, I only had like five or six posts in the Politics, Activism, and Law Forum. Most of 'em were in the S&P forum and the Other Drugs forums (which should be called something more eloquent btw).

I'm glad you told me this, otherwise I would have concluded that you were a doctor with a legitimate opinion presented in a terribly eloquent way.

I get the feeling that the morning is your 'creative time'!
'tis mine, as the day goes on I get less and less motivated, so if I haven't started something by say 2pm. I most probably won't.

Ho-hum, back to work!

Well, if ya'll are referring to his sharing mushrooms with a friend project that was going on, I don't have any access to shrooms right now, otherwise I would have tried the thing out! If any of you recall, I was the one trying to get people to share mushrooms with me..
Enter isn't crazy. He has just seen the light and is trying to get others to see the same light in all its wonderful glory.... I mean, I am sure he isn't talking about going into everyone's houses and stuffing mushrooms down their throats, just trying to get the idea of some system of change out there so that more and more people become gradually aware of the potential for self discovery that is our mushroom..
I mean, if people don't catch on, we could always dump psilocybin into their water supply... Peace.
