When to change Dessicant?

How often should you change the dessicant in a chamber? What are the signs to change it? Does it get weaker over time? Thanks

What type do you have?
If it is the "damp rid" type it turns into a solid chunks and gets thrown out.
If it is "kitty littler" type or silicon based granules . YOu can bake them in the oven to dry them out........... and reuse over and over.

once it no longer is effective. AFOAF used damp-rid even after it clumped and it still worked. If it is taking longer than 24 hours after 48 hours on the fan, it should be changed.
