This e. subdenudata is my first cacti and it growed from 3cm diameter to 10cm in 3 years.
Loph is diffusa . I own it for 3 months but couldn' see it flowering yet :-( I seperated the small lophs under it and i suspect it did not like my behaviour.

Well, compliments are due. Taking a seedling that small and making it eventually flower is like graduating from "cactus slayer" to "green thumbo"
Your Loph doesn't seem that unhappy. Give it time, flowers will pop out of that wool before you know it. You won't mind me asking if you took care to let the mother plant callous properly before repotting, do you?

It will be all right, they are pretty resilient plants.

One of the others is more kiko like and not so nude but is starting to burst with color. Waiting for it to fill out more before snapping a picture of that.
Its a lovely cultivar.

Astrophytum Myriostigma cv. onzuka cristata.
I have this same cut, I had to do a bunch of emergency grafts recently because the whole big ass thing rotted from the very center-top area. It was really weird. I'm guessing maybe some sort of insect damage that rain water managed to get in or something. It's brown and not soft, but seems to be slowly eating it's way through the whole thing. Many of my emergency grafts look promising though.
I too have lost many crests this way. No amount of emergency grafts helped and I lost them all. Sulcorebutia raushii crest, Turbinicarpus valdezianus and pseudopectinatus crests, and others I cant remember. I had a beautiful freaks garden.
That one is the perfect last one. I hope I didnt speak too soon.

May it live long and prosper!
I have one Myriostigma that put out 4 or 5 heads and one mutated head/crest. But the normal heads grew and the weird part hasn't done much. Debating on cutting of the normal growth and seeing if the weird part will put on some weight.

Was there any damage to it? It might have grow weird if it did. They usually dont pup, at least I dont think so but I may be wrong. I have before.

So I went to a local nursery today just to look around and was totally surprised to find a BIG(at least 5 feet high) Monstrose Cereus Peruvianus. It just was so odd to see in my neck of the woods. Would never have recognized it just 6 months ago. It has a price tag of $150(USD). I want it, cant afford it

There is a caespitose cv of myriostigmas just like there is with most species but you're right they are usually solitary.

I'm not sure if its caespitose do to being a seedling graft or its genetics. If I remember right it didn't grow at first and then it exploded.

I was at Enchanted Rock earlier this year. There were quite a few mamms spread around the land. Wish I had brought my camera with me.

Cereus Peruvianus Monstrose. +1foot tall cactus. I just like this

Trichocereus Pasacana. Pyrethrin damage caused 1,5years ago. Don't spray aerosol pesticides to cactus, even T. Terscheckii haven't got any damage from spray but this had more damage than bugs cause...
I used pyrethrin spray at early 2013 and hit accidentally very close to this cactus growth tip.. Luckily damaged growth tip epidermis is just a memory at the skin and plant grows happy now. I had this at 2012 and plant was simply smaller cobular cactus, it have double the size in two years now. Fat and slow.. I like this.. Wonder what kind this plant looks after few years. Slowly these scars are just simple memory only because plant doesn't grow anymore horizontally..
