Mushrooms found growing in fescue grass... sorry for the shitty pictures, being poor does have at least one disadvantage, though I enjoy myself thoroughly.



I hope I find some more before the end of the season...

I'll take your word for it if you say so. A few of those mushooms appear to maybe have a dusted annular zone on the upper portion of the stems. If that is the case I would strongly suspect them to be Psathryella velutina.


Just be sure about it, those pics aren't good enough to tell for sure. Was there any bluing at all?

Yes three of them did turn out to be Psathryella velutina once I got to look at them in the light of day. They were all pretty old so it was tricky to identify them in the dark. I hope we get some more rain soon... these new fields I found look promising.
